Each post I write is about 1,000 words and I try to include 3-4 illustrations with each story. Each post can take me up to 15 hours to write, edit the text, pictures and captions and publish.

At first, my plan was to publish one post a week, alternating between English and French stories. After a few months of this, I had received so many requests from readers who asked me to publish an English and French version of each story that I began Straight from the Bowels where I have been publishing all my English stories since. There are still a few stories that I haven't adapted in both languages but I'm working on it.

As for suggestions and tips, I would say not to expect a lot of traffic in the beginning. As you build up the content of your blog and if you do it regularly (at least once a week) you should see your readership increase. The main thing is not to give up, keep publishing well-written interesting stories, illustrate them with pictures and drawings that you are entitled to use and you should see results in a matter of months.

Best of luck and thanks again,

GeoffGeoffroy Hauppierhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00969670115579717532noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-934346140238167890.post-88404375370565478912014-08-19T00:40:48.519-04:002014-08-19T00:40:48.519-04:00Hi there! I realize this is kind of off-topic but I needed to ask.
Does running a well-established website such as yours take a massive amount work?

I'm brand new to running a blog however I do write in my diary on a daily basis.
I'd like to start a blog so I can easily share my own experience and
feelings online.
